“Note To Self” Selected To Open the 12th Hollywood Black Film Festival

Tanya Kersey, Founder and Executive Director for The Hollywood Black Film Festival (HBFF) announced that the theatrical world premiere of “Note To Self” will open the 12th Hollywood Black Film Festival on Thursday, October 25, 2012, 7pm, at the Montalban Theater, 1615 Vine Street, Hollywood, CA. HBFF 2012 runs October 25-28 in Hollywood, CA.

Did you know six years ago today LeToya’s “Torn” video premiered? It was directed by Chris Robinson, and features NFL star Will Demps as her on-screen boyfriend. The video quickly shot to #1 on BET’s 106 & Park where it remained for a record 25 straight days, becoming the longest running #1 video on the show – a title previously held by Aaliyah’s “Rock The Boat.” The song peaked at #1 on Urban radio and #2 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts. “Killers” Premieres TOMORROW!

The world premiere of the new action comedy “Killers” takes place on Tuesday, June 1st at the Arclight Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles and Lionsgate will be broadcasting the red carpet event live via their official “Killers” Facebook page.

Ashton Kutcher will be streaming the first 10 minutes of the movie live via UStream from inside the Cinerama Dome where the premiere is taking place, so viewers will get an exclusive first look at the movie before it is released in theatres on June 4th.
