A Random “Torn” Fact

Did you know six years ago today LeToya’s “Torn” video premiered? It was directed by Chris Robinson, and features NFL star Will Demps as her on-screen boyfriend. The video quickly shot to #1 on BET’s 106 & Park where it remained for a record 25 straight days, becoming the longest running #1 video on the show – a title previously held by Aaliyah’s “Rock The Boat.” The song peaked at #1 on Urban radio and #2 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts.
