Don’t Miss LeToya at the 2013 Stellar Awards!
LeToya will be a presenter at the 28th Annual Stellar Awards this Saturday, January 19, 2013!
The show will be hosted by Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary, and air live on GMC TV at 7pm (ET).
LeToya Joins “The Concerto”
LeToya Luckett is continuing to build her acting portfolio in 2013. Having completed several stage, television and film projects over the past few years, she will be adding another film to her resume – The Concerto.
The independent film is directed by Pece Dingo, and stars Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars) and Jackson Rathbone (The Twilight Saga). Parrish stars as a young musician who moves to Los Angeles and into a house that has the perfect man (Rathbone), only he is a ghost who has been dead since 1969.
“Second Generation Wayans” Premieres January 15th
The new BET show, “Second Generation Wayans” will premiere January 15, 2013!
LeToya joins the show’s stars Damien Dante Wayans, Craig Wayans, George Gore II, and Tatyana Ali, as Rochelle. Her character is the mother of Craig’s child, Bronx, and described as a cute, ex R&B singer who had a one hit single a decade ago [with] a bold, sharp attitude and often finds herself quarreling with Craig. In the pilot, Craig and Rochelle are no longer seeing one another and tensions boil over between them during a run-in at a club.
About the show:
Craig Wayans and Damien Dante Wayans come from America’s First Family of Comedy. Their co-star George Gore II is best known for his role as Big Head Junior in Damon Wayans’ sitcom My Wife & Kids. Second Generation Wayans is a hilarious new scripted family comedy.
However, as it turns out, being a Wayans isn’t all fun and games. Viewers see the good, the funny and the ugly as the young trio emerges from the long shadows of their aunts and uncles to carve out their own paths to stardom.
“For Richer or Poorer” Returns December 1st
The series premiere of “For Richer or Poorer” is set to premiere this Saturday, December 1st at 9 & 10pm on GMC TV. The new series is the continuation of the original gospel play, that aired last April. The story is about commitment and honesty, and focuses on Kya and Aubrey Wilson, a married couple of four years who questions their commitment as they go though difficult financial times that ultimately place their strengths and weaknesses on the front line.
LeToya, Rockmond Dunbar, and Angell Conwell have all returned to reprise their roles, while adding Anthony Evans Jr., Carl Anthony Payne, and Jackée Harry to the cast. In case you missed the TV movie, you can watch it here!
